Daily Devotional October 14, 2026: Call Unto Me and I Will Answer

Today’s Scripture: Jeremiah 33:3

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

An Invitation From God

Jeremiah was in prison when he received this promise. The city was under siege and the future looked hopeless. In that moment, God did not give a lecture. He gave an invitation: call on Me.

What the Verse Teaches

God Invites Us to Pray

“Call unto me” is a personal, open invitation. You do not need perfect words or a perfect record. You only need to call.

God Promises to Answer

“I will answer thee” does not always mean the answer comes immediately or in the way we expect, but God is not silent. He hears and responds in His wisdom and timing.

God Reveals More Than We Know

“Great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” God sees possibilities, solutions and plans that are hidden from us. Prayer opens our eyes to them.

Father, thank You for inviting me to call on You. I bring You my needs, my questions and my hopes. Answer me according to Your wisdom, and show me what I cannot see. Amen.
